These methods are employed by some of the so-called clinics or rehabilitation centers, without scientific or legal foundation, intending to cure homosexuality under petition from the family members of those who are interred. There are also places where they base their method on prayer.<br><br>
These centers also utilize drugs in their "treatment." "They gave me hormones which changed my voice. They showed us videos of men and, if by chance we had an erection, they hit us. We got up at 5:30 A.M. and, if we had not committed any infraction, they gave us breakfast. They gave us electric shock on our private parts and the hands."

An advantage, which quickly can be taken as a curse, of being close to the camp, of the base communities, is that one can't dispute the official figures. Between the distrustful creed after many experiences, and the faces of the people which don't agree with the good that is the situation since the official speech, one can't turn a blind eye.
