The Library, Documentation and Information Department of the African Studies Centre Leiden has compiled a dossier on HIV/AIDS in Africa to coincide with World AIDS Day on 1 December. With its theme Live and let live, World AIDS Day focuses this year on eliminating stigma and discrimination, the major obstacles to effective HIV/AIDS prevention and care. The ASC web dossier consists of titles from the library's online catalogue, selected web resources and an introduction to the current situation concerning HIV/AIDS in Africa.
